Chopsky Cutting Board
From the streets to where you cut your meats.
The kitchen is my canvas. Wood is my spray can.
There are many combinations/options of this board available so please read through the description and view the pictures in this listing to help you choose your board!!!!!
ORDERING INSTRUCTIONS:
1ST CHOOSE size:
SMALL: 9x13x.5"
LARGE: 11x14x1"
2ND CHOOSE whether you want your board to be "INLAY" or "ETCHED":
INLAY: The design is laser etched into the board. Another piece of wood (usually a different species & color) is cut out to fit into the etching. This is kind of like putting together a puzzle. This results in a smooth surface which is more polished and less likely to wear than "etched" boards.
ETCHED: The design is laser etched into the board. The effect is a burnt look and there is a slight indentation in the board wherever it was etched. The "Etched" boards have a more rustic feel than inlay boards.
3RD CHOOSE what wood type/combo you would like:
INLAY Boards are available in the following combinations:
- Maple Board with Walnut Inlay
- Maple Board with Mahogany Inlay
- Cherry Board with Walnut Inlay
- Mahogany Board with Maple Inlay
- Walnut Board with Maple Inlay
ETCHED Boards are available in the following wood types:
- Maple
- Cherry
- Mahogany
- Bamboo (only available in 9x13 size)
4TH CHOOSE if you would like a CUSTOM MESSAGE etched on the back of the board.
This message will be etched on the back, bottom of the board unless specified otherwise. Please leave a note as to what you would like custom etched when you order the board. This is a $10 extra charge.
5TH CHOOSE if you would like any add ons:
MANILLA ROPE HANDLE: You can add a manilla rope handle to any board 1" or thicker for $10 extra.
RUBBER FOOTING: You can add rubber footing to any board for $10 extra
FREE GIFT WRAP: We also offer free gift wrap, just leave a note that you would like us to do this when you buy the board.
Please note that being a natural product, there may be small variations on size and grain. I work closely with the organic qualities of the wood and recycle scraps into wood thins to create nearly 0 waste. If you have rigid requirements for size, please let me know!
